These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of rentsevak.com and the property management services provided by Rentsevak ("Rentsevak", "we", "us") in Hyderabad, India. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our Services
Rentsevak provides end-to-end rental property management, including tenant sourcing and screening, rental agreement drafting, police verification coordination, rent collection, periodic inspections, and maintenance coordination. Specific services included in your engagement depend on the plan you sign up for with us.
2. Accounts & Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a tenancy or property management agreement to use our services. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide us and for keeping your account credentials confidential.
3. Landlord Responsibilities
- You confirm you are the legal owner of the property listed, or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- You agree to provide accurate property details, and to disclose any known defects or restrictions.
- You agree to the fee structure communicated to you at the time of onboarding for the services you select.
4. Tenant Responsibilities
- You agree to provide accurate identity and verification documents required for police and background checks.
- You agree to pay rent and deposits on the schedule set out in your rental agreement.
- You agree to report maintenance issues promptly and to allow reasonable access for agreed inspections and repairs.
5. No Brokerage, Listing Accuracy
Rentsevak lists and manages properties directly, without charging tenants brokerage fees. While we take reasonable steps to verify listings and screen tenants, we do not guarantee the condition of any property beyond what is disclosed to us, and landlords and tenants remain bound by the terms of their individual rental agreement.
6. Payments
Rent, deposits, and service fees are processed through our designated payment channels. Late or failed payments may result in the escalation and follow-up procedures described to you at onboarding, and, where applicable, the recovery steps set out in your rental agreement.
7. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use rentsevak.com or our services to submit false property or identity information, to circumvent our tenant verification process, or to use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
Rentsevak facilitates and manages the relationship between landlords and tenants but is not a party to the underlying tenancy. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rentsevak is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from a landlord-tenant dispute, except where such losses result directly from our own negligence or breach of a specific service commitment.
9. Termination
Either party may end a property management engagement in accordance with the notice period agreed at onboarding. We reserve the right to suspend access to our website or platform for accounts found to be in breach of these Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
